The family of Tom Petty is asking fans not to bid on memorabilia up for sale through a New Hampshire auction house.
The late singer's family said personal items in this collection were stolen.
The personal items include jackets, hats, vests, shoes and autographed items.
The family said RR Auction was given bad information about who owned the items, but they also claim the auction house isn't helping to figure things out.
In a statement, RR Auction said it has been cooperating and takes allegations of theft very seriously.
